Zimbabwe to host India for five T20Is after T20 World Cup

Zimbabwe will host India for a five-match T20I series in July, a week after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA. All five games will be played in Harare, from July 6 to 14. Four of the five T20Is will be day games, starting at 1pm local time. The third T20I, the only night match, will begin at 6pm. "We are totally excited to have India for a T20I series in July in what will be our greatest global fascination at home this year," Zimbabwe Cricket director Tavengwa Mukuhlani said in an official statement. "The importance and extent of this visit can't be over-underscored, particularly as it is coming at a time we are working nonstop to restore ourselves as a power to deal with at the most elevated level of the game." India last visited Zimbabwe for three ODIs in August 2022, when they won 3-0. From that point forward, the different sides have met just a single time across designs, at the T20 World Cup in Australia soon thereafter. By and large, the two groups have played eight T20Is one another, with India winning six of them. Zimbabwe couldn't fit the bill during the current year's T20 World Cup despite the fact that upwards of 20 groups will take part without precedent for the competition. Before that, they had neglected to get it done for the 2023 ODI World Cup too.
