World Cup performance has hurt us, we will get better - Taskin

Bangladesh bad habit chief Taskin Ahmed conceded on Friday that the unfortunate type of senior campaigners Shakib al Hasan and Mahmudullah affected the group's presentation during their as of late finished up mission of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Driven by the horrible showings of the batting unit, Bangladesh's mission stopped in the Super 8s of the World Cup, the round in which they lost all their three games. Shakib figured out how to score 111 runs at a strike pace of 106.73 On the planet Cup while Mahmudullah made just 95 runs at a strike pace of 94.05. "The seniors (Shakib and Mahmudullah) off-structure affected the group (on the field) yet not off the field. They are extraordinary group men and we remained collectively for 47 days while all was great off the field," Taskin told columnists at the Hazrat Shah Jalal Global Air terminal on Friday. "It is very considered common that a group will have issues when significant players (Shakib and Mahmudullah) are not in structure," he said "I'm confident that we can recuperate from this and play better soon. "I haven't seen such a long terrible fix for the hitters in my decade playing for Bangladesh. I trust it disappears rapidly. We never had extraordinary numbers in T20s. We are improving gradually. We can't simply take a gander at the negative places; we are in the negative as of now. We are attempting to get a 'or more'. We will give you a decent success. You need to keep confidence in us. We will do the best that we can with it," he added. Taskin said that they were generally on the chase after a spot in the semi-last when they were pursuing 115 runs in 12.1 overs to move beyond Afghanistan and move to the last four with a superior run rate however added that he was disheartened to lose the game. "We might have improved. We were all very disheartened with the last match (against Afghanistan) and we attempted to win it in 12 overs yet when we understood it was preposterous, we attempted to dominate the match. We actually couldn't win," the right-arm pacer said. Taskin commended leg spinner Rishad Hossain and pacer Tanzim Shakib for their critical exhibitions in the competition. Rishad picked 14 wickets to complete as the joint third-most elevated wicket-taker toward the finish of the Super 8s, while Tanzim picked 11 wickets and gave the group essential leap forwards on various events. "Tanzim and Rishad are among the competition's top wicket-takers. It is a positive. We have a few future stars rising up out of Bangladesh. It says that we have capacity," said Taskin. "The bowling unit has been doing great throughout the previous few years. We have been predictable. It will continue to improve. What has occurred has harmed us and the fans, particularly our powerlessness to win certain matches," he closed.
