Williamson 'on track' for England Test series - Gary Stead

New Zealand mentor Gary Stead has said that Kane Williamson is "on target" for the impending three Test matches in England and "biting the dust to play cricket for New Zealand once more." Williamson, who's at present skippering Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, missed the whole home summer for New Zealand with an elbow injury. He was inaccessible for every one of the four Tests against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home. "Everything will design as far as how he's inclination and how he's planning," Stead said of Williamson. "He's on target with where we believe that him should be, with our perspective on preparing him for the Test match series in England." Stead underlined that he anticipates that Williamson should return as the chief of the side, which has been driven by Tom Latham throughout the home season. "Right now, Kane's barely out of that job since he hasn't been accessible as far as we're concerned. So when Kane returns, I anticipate that he should be chief as far as we're concerned once more." Williamson's issues with the elbow got when he was in India in November-December last year and needed to sit out of the second Test in Mumbai. However New Zealand missed Williamson before very long, when they lost a Test each to Bangladesh and South Africa on home soil, Stead called Williamson's break the "correct thing" by the 31-year-old and by the group. "He's one of our extraordinary batsmen, so he'll generally be missed," Stead said. "However, we actually keep up with that it was the proper thing by Kane and it'll be the correct thing by us in the long haul. The dilemma is, Kane returns early, scores 100, and his elbow's gone once more, and afterward we'd be in a similar spot. "I'd like him to play everything. Any group with Kane Williamson in it looks marginally more grounded than one without him. "Like any of us, Kane needs breaks at specific times. He's withering to play cricket for New Zealand once more, I can totally guarantee you of that - however we can't wear him out from here on out, we must be shrewd around those things."
