An additional T20 International (T20I) has been added to the Bangladesh tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), making it a three-match series. The third and final T20I will be played on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM local time . The series is currently tied 1-1. Bangladesh won the first T20I by 27 runs, while UAE secured a historic victory in the second T20I, chasing down a target of 206 to win by two wickets. This was UAE's first-ever T20I win against Bangladesh and the highest successful run chase by an Associate Nation against a Full Member team . The third T20I was added at the request of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), as they await confirmation on their subsequent tour to Pakistan. The Emirates Cricket Board agreed to the additional match, allowing Bangladesh to remain in the UAE and potentially travel directly to Pakistan if that tour proceeds as planned . The upcoming match will serve as the series decider, with both teams aiming to clinch the series. UAE will be looking to secure their first-ever T20I series win against a Full Member nation, while Bangladesh will aim to bounce back after their unexpected loss in the second match.
