"I think it (batting disaster in the last two series) is tied in with batting with dread of disappointment," Tillakaratne told Cricbuzz. "They come from various foundations and furthermore we, as mentors, we have let them know simply go out there and play dauntless cricket. Articulate your thoughts, play daring cricket. In this way, everything revolves around certainty level and they know the specialized and strategic part well overall. We have accomplished loads of work with them.
"Mainly, simply go out there, have a reasonable mentality and execute the arrangement. For us it's about working with them. Give them certainty and foster them. That is our part. In this way, when they go out there, they should have a genuine mentality. What's more, simply go out there and execute the arrangement. The readiness has been excellent and furthermore before the camp there was a competition and there were a few decent exhibitions in the competition and the selectors have remembered them and chosen them (based on that competition) for the Asia Cup," she said.
Tillakaratne said the arrival of experienced campaigners Jahanara Alam and Rumana Ahmed will support their crew. Both the returned on the rear of exemplary exhibitions in homegrown cricket.
"Experience includes a ton in significant competitions and furthermore the main World Cup is around the bend. So it's dependably ideal to have both Jahanara and Rumana considering they have done well in the competition," said Tillakaratne. "We as a whole understand what they have done and they had an exceptionally lean period and after these consistent exhibitions (in homegrown cricket) I'm certain the experience will give loads of weight aside."
The lead trainer said the arrival of the pair can act as a motivation for different cricketers hoping to get back into the game, including one more experienced campaigner Salma Khatun who is out of the public group for a long while.
"Better believe it, that is a decent stunner for every one of the players. However long you perform you can be in the side, in the event that you don't perform, you can't remain. There are such countless great players thumping at the entryway. We have a NCL (T20 design competition played by eight divisional sides) after this (Asia Cup) thus that additionally will help a portion of the players to show their actual ability in the competition.
"On the off chance that Salma is sufficient she can constantly get back into the game. I think the selectors haven't closed the entryway on anybody as long as they perform well," Tillakaratne finished up.
