The old rivalry delivered again — Lahore absolutely steamrolled Karachi thanks to standout performances from Fakhar, D Mitchell & Shaheen

That was a clinical dismantling, wasn't it? The so-called El Clasico of the PSL really fizzled out once Lahore got rolling — from the moment Shaheen sent Warner and Vince packing in the very first over, it felt like the result was only heading one way. The 125-run stand between Fakhar Zaman and Daryl Mitchell was textbook T20 batting — measured aggression, smart running, and punishing anything even slightly off. Fakhar getting that early life from Vince proved so costly. Once he settled in, he looked unstoppable, especially the way he took down Khushdil Shah in that brutal tenth over. And Mitchell — what a reliable addition for Lahore this season. The way he complemented Fakhar and then accelerated at just the right time against Abbas Afridi really set the tone. Those late cameos from Billings and Raza just iced the cake. On the bowling side, Shaheen Afridi was all class — that opening over pretty much knocked the wind out of Karachi. Vince’s dismissal summed up Kings’ night: sloppy execution under pressure. It’s rare to see a Lahore-Karachi clash feel this one-sided, but credit to Qalandars, they were sharp in all departments. Kings will be frustrated, especially after showing such chasing power in the previous game. Lahore Qalandars 201 for 6 (Fakhar 76, Mitchell 75, Hasan 4-28) beat Karachi Kings 136 (Khushdil 39, Hossain 3-26, Shaheen 3-34) by 65 runs
