SLC to not provide NOC for BPL 2022

Sri Lanka Cricket won't give a no-complaint endorsement to their cricketers for the forthcoming version of the Bangladesh Premier League T20, booked to start from January 21. Nine Sri Lankan cricketers were picked by various establishments for the six-group competition. The way things are, the groups are checking out substitutions. Fortune Barisal reported on Saturday that they have roped in Dwayne Bravo as swap for Danushka Gunathilaka while it is perceived different establishments are additionally watching out for new names to supplant the Sri Lankan players in their list. Kusal Mendis was picked by Comilla Victorians while Danushka Gunathilaka and Niroshima Dickwella were purchased by Fortune Barisal. Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Perera were drafted in by Sylhet Sunrisers. Thisara Perera, Bhanuka Rajapakse and Seekkuge Prasanna were picked by Khulna Tigers while Dhaka selected just a single Sri Lankan in Isuru Udana. "As shrunk by SLC because of their FTP responsibilities, they won't deliver their cricketers during BPL," BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury affirmed to Cricbuzz on Saturday. Cricbuzz discovered that the SLC authorities have taken the choice to not give the NOC since a couple of players in ongoing past have picked to resign without illuminating the board, which as per them is exceptionally "disturbing". SLC have as of late acquired previous commander Mahela Jayawardene as a specialist mentor for their public group and he is attempting to ensure that their contracted cricketers partake in a homegrown competition, planned for the coming days, to evaluate the state of his charges.
