Siddons to focus on developing next crop of cricketers in Bangladesh

Bangladesh's batting mentor Jamie Siddons declared on Monday (May 1) that he won't be working with men's public group any longer as he needs to zero in on fostering the following harvest of cricketers. The Bangladesh Cricket Board selected previous public lead trainer Siddons as their batting specialist for a time of two years in 2021 and later he was remembered for the public group support staff subsequent to batting mentor Ashwell Sovereign chose to step down from his post. As of late, the BCB selected Scratch Pothas as their associate mentor and it is perceived that he will assist the batsmen in the public nets alongside lead trainer Chandika Hathurusingha, who is investing parcel of energy with his charges attempting to improve their batting abilities. "I'm back in Dhaka after a brief break. I won't be working with the Public group any longer as I feel my best worth to BCB is working with the cutting edge to guarantee the players right beyond the group are by and large very much cared for and are working on every day in anticipation of their next an open door to play for their country," Jamie expressed in his Facebook page. "I love training the abilities of the game to youthful players thus the BCB and I have gotten it going. Anticipating working with our future players with the A Group and the Tigers," he said adding that he wishes best of luck to the group which has left for Britain to play against Ireland. Siddons is supposed to direct Bangladesh A during their forthcoming home series against West Indies A. The Caribbean side will show up in Bangladesh on May 11 to play three four-day Tests, planned for Sylhet. The initial four-day game will be played from May 16-19 while the subsequent game will begin on May 23. The last match is planned from May 30 to June 2.
