Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said on Wednesday (June 29) that supernatural all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan could miss the impending ODI series against West Indies. He is probably going to be supplanted by Taijul Islam. Cricket had announced that Shakib probably won't be accessible for the ODI leg of the West Indies visit considering it isn't essential for the ICC Super League. ''Shakib said prior to going (to West Indies) said that he won't play Test and will play one-day and T20. Subsequent to sitting with me he said that he will play Test and later he was made the skipper. I heard that he told Jalal bhai( BCB's cricket activity director) that he probably won't play in the ODI series and that he had said so before,'' Nazmul told columnists on Wednesday. ''Since he hasn't spoken with the board authoritatively most likely I will grasp it subsequent to conversing with them by today or tomorrow. In any case, you can accept that as informal considering he had informed (about his choice) prior,'' he said. Nazmul added that he would invite seniors enjoying reprieves from series that were not piece of ICC occasions thinking about that will clear the way for the board to test their seat strength. ''In the event that seniors need break from games that are not piece of ICC occasions (ICC Test Championship and ODI Super League) that that is great. We can see the new cricketers and regardless of whether we have players in their place. Thinking all that we have it as a top priority that they (seniors) should be offered reprieve,'' he said. In the interim, Nazmul said that board had chosen to shape a functioning gathering to direct the homegrown five star structure. The homegrown cricket structure came up in the conversation table following the new fiasco in Test cricket. ''We have chosen to shape a functioning gathering to manage our homegrown five star cricket,'' said Nazmul ''They are now planning three proposition and will give it to us and later we will see their suggestion,'' he added.
