Nic Pothas named Bangladesh assistant coach

The BCB has designated Nic Pothas, the previous South Africa hitter, as the Bangladesh group's associate mentor for the following two years. He will connect up with the crew in Chelmsford in May when they will play the three-match ODI series against Ireland. The board had declared as of late that Bangladeshi mentors could likewise apply for the job, with just Mizanur Rahman Babul allegedly going after the job. "I'm respected to focus on the Bangladesh Public Group. The profundity and exhibit of ability going through Bangladesh is excellent and I accept we make them energize a long time in front of us," said Pothas. The 49-year-old has recently been the break lead trainer of West Indies and Sri Lanka over the most recent six years. His last job was as Hampshire's wicketkeeping mentor. Pothas addressed South Africa in three ODIs in 2000 and played 218 five star matches, 236 50-over games and 79 T20s until 2011. He joins Chandika Hathurusinghe (lead trainer), Allan Donald (pace-bowling trainer), Rangana Herath (turn bowling trainer), Jamie Siddons (batting mentor) and Shane McDermott (handling mentor) in the Bangladesh support staff. Bangladesh have straightforwardly equipped for the ODI World Cup by winning 13 of the 21 games in the ODI World Cup Super Association. They are probably going to leave for Chelmsford toward the beginning of May for the ODIs against Ireland on May 9, 12 and 14.
