New Zealand, who are right now playing a three-match ODI series at home against Netherlands, are set to return favor and visit for a two-match Twenty20 International series in August 2022, the Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond declared on Friday. The two T20Is will be played at the VCC Ground in Voorburg on August 4 and 6 separately - both being day-night experiences. It is set to be New Zealand's first respective visit to Netherlands beginning around 1986, when New Zealand had visited for a two-match 40-overs-a-side challenge. Discussing the series, Ryan Campbell, the Netherlands lead trainer, said: "The opportunity to play the best white ball groups on the planet has generally been the objective for this group. To test our young players against them, as well as exhibit our abilities before our home fans is so incredibly energizing. The Blackcaps coming to The Netherlands again extends the regard we are working in world cricket and I trust all Dutch fans come out and partake in the challenge." The Netherlands visit has been added to New Zealand's schedule, not long after an all around two-drawn out European visit which starts with a three-match Test series against England from June 2, trailed by a six-match restricted overs series against Ireland (three ODIs and three T20Is) and a three-match series against Scotland (two T20Is and an oddball ODI). Gary Stead, New Zealand's head, mentor, who has recently highlighted in the Dutch Premier association as a player, further added, "We're truly eager to visit the Netherlands. They're a group on the ascent and incredible we'll confront them both home and away this year. Playing against partner groups as a full part country is a truly significant piece of assisting them with developing and that can help the world game long haul. "Actually, I truly partook in my three summers playing for Rood en Wit (Red and White). It was an incredible encounter and I've remained companions with many individuals around there who I actually stay in contact and I'm a lot of anticipating getting back there and connecting up."
