Lizelle Lee signs 2-year contract with Hobart Hurricanes BBL Women 2025

Lizelle Lee will remain with Hobart Hurricanes for at least another two seasons after she signed with the club ahead of the WBBL draft. Lee, who has lived in Tasmania forever since resigning from global cricket in 2022-23, was Tropical storms' driving run-scorer last season with 409 at 37.18 and a strike-pace of 146.07 which incorporated an unbeaten 101 against Melbourne Rebels. "I feel like the group gained areas of strength for some last season, and I'm anticipating assuming my part and regular game as we hope to bring Tasmania and the Tropical storms their most memorable WBBL prize," Lee said. Cricket Tasmania's head supervisor Salliann Shafts was amped up for the possibility of Lee and Elyse Villani continuing their matching at the highest point of the request.
