Kuldeep Yadav advised rest after groin niggle

Kuldeep Yadav has picked up a groin niggle, which had ruled him out of Delhi Capitals's previous two matches in IPL 2024. Cricket has learned that Kuldeep has been advised rest as a precautionary move, but there is no confirmation yet on when he will be ready to play again. The injury is presumably not serious, taking into account Kuldeep has been going with the Capitals crew and is at present in Mumbai where they play their next match - against Mumbai Indians on April 7. Kuldeep played Capital's initial two matches this season - both away games, against Punjab Rulers and Rajasthan Royals - and got three wickets.
