KL Rahul begins England tour with century against England Lions

KL Rahul made a resounding return to red-ball cricket, scoring a composed 116 on the opening day of the second unofficial Test between India A and England Lions in Northampton. His innings, featuring 15 boundaries and a six, was instrumental in guiding India A to a total of 319 for 7 in 83 overs, despite early setbacks and challenging conditions. Rahul's century, his 19th in first-class cricket, came after India A lost both openers early to England Lions' pacer Chris Woakes, who finished with figures of 3 for 50.
