Kagiso Rabada has returned home from IPL 2025 for personal reasons, as confirmed by his franchise

Thanks for the update — and correction! So Kagiso Rabada was actually with Gujarat Titans (GT) this season, not PBKS. That definitely makes his departure a notable one for GT, especially with Gerald Coetzee yet to play (possibly not fully fit) and Glenn Phillips still unused. It’s good to see Arshad Khan making the most of his opportunity though — taking out Virat Kohli is no small feat. Also interesting that GT went with only three overseas players and still dominated the game. Shows the depth and adaptability in their squad. With Rabada out indefinitely and the next two matches (vs Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals) coming up soon, GT may need to keep rotating or try out Phillips or Coetzee if available.
