Joylord Gumbie named in Zimbabwe squad for World Cup qualifiers

Uncapped wicketkeeper-hitter Joylord Gumbie has been named in Zimbabwe's 15-man crew for the impending ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Likewise in the crew is Luke Jongwe, yet Brandon Mavuta passes up a great opportunity. Gumbie, 27, comes into the crew in a rich vein of structure, having scored 100 years as an opener for Zimbabwe Select against Pakistan Shaheens a little more than seven days prior. He has invested energy around the senior men's crew, having been named for the West Indies series recently yet couldn't exactly take care of business into the Playing XI. Other than that, natural names make up the crew drove by Craig Ervine. Zimbabwe are put with West Indies, Netherlands, Nepal and USA in Gathering A for the 10-group competition, that will be played across Bulawayo and Harare from June 18. Squad: Ryan Burl, Tendai Chatara, Craig Ervine, Bradley Evans, Joylord Gumbie, Luke Jongwe, Innocent Kaia, Clive Madande, Wessly Madhevere, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Muzarabani, Richard Ngarava, Sikandar Raza, Sean Williams
