India tour of West Indies to begin on July 22

The Indian group's Caribbean visit this late spring will begin on July 22 and the five-match white-ball series, including three One-Day Internationals and five Twenty20Is, will be played in Trinidad and St Kitts before the guests end up the 20-day series, as recently revealed by Cricbuzz, in the US. As per data acquired from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket West Indies (CWI), the three ODIs will be played at the Queens Park Oval in Trinidad on July 22, 24 and 27 with the recently assembled Brian Charles Lara Stadium there facilitating the first of the five Twenty20Is on July 29. The following two T20Is will be played at the Warner Park in St Kitts and Nevis on August 1 and 2 after which the parade will move to Fort Lauderdale in Florida where the last two games will be hung on August 6 and 7. "Those are the dates and the timetable will be declared once the leeway from the US comes. We are sitting tight for the endorsing from the US," a top CWI official, in direct information on the turns of events, told this site on Friday (May 6). The Indian group will venture out to Trinidad on July 18 from UK subsequent to finishing its commitment comprising of a Test, three T20Is and as numerous ODIs, in a specific order, from July 1 to 17. India will arrive at UK through Ireland where it is scheduled to play two ODIs, on June 26 and 28, in Dublin. Two clumps of Indian group (one containing the Test trained professionals) are supposed to leave for Ireland and England on June 20, after the five-match home T20I series against South Africa from June 9 to 19. Given the way that the Coronavirus conditions are working on world over, it is improbable there will be an excessive number of long periods of isolation and severe bio-bubbles rules set up in any of the visits. "The India series is still around 90 days away however clinical conventions should be stuck to on a case by case basis," the CWI official said.
