India to host Asia Cup 2025 in T20 format

India and Bangladesh have been affirmed as the hosts for the following two versions of the Asia Cup, as indicated by the Greeting for Articulation of Interest (IEOI) from the Asian Cricket Board for sponsorship freedoms. India, the best group in the opposition's set of experiences with eight titles, are the reigning champs too. They have facilitated the competition just a single time preceding this, back in 1990 where they beat Sri Lanka in the last. Beginning around 2016, the competition has been played in the T20 design too on occasion in accordance with the impending worldwide competitions. With a T20 World Cup planned for 2026, the 2025 release of the Asia Cup will likewise be played in the 20-over design.
