Afghanistan to play 3 ODIs against India in 2022

Afghanistan will take on India in a three-match ODI series away from home in March 2022, according to the Future Tour Program plan for the following two years. The public side will play 11 ODI, 4 T20I, and 2 Test series separately - home and away - during the two-year time frame. Altogether, Afghanistan is scheduled to play 52 global matches - 37 ODIs, 12 T20Is, and three Test matches in 2022 and 2023. In those two years, the public side will play in the Asia Cup in 2022 and the ICC T20 World Cup around the same time, trailed by the Asia Cup and the ICC 50-over World Cup in 2023. Afghanistan will launch the following year with an ODI series versus the Netherlands and end the year with a three-design series against Zimbabwe. "Assuming we bifurcate the count into restricted overs cricket and the test design, it plainly shows that Afghanistan's attention will be on the more limited configurations of the game," ACB said in a delivery. "Considering the way that Afghanistan will play 7 ODI series in the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, just as will take an interest in four significant restricted overs occasions, for example, Asia Cup 2022 (T20 design), ICC T20 World Cup 2022, the Asia Cup 2023 (ODI design) and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023," ACB added.
