Gabby Lewis returns as captain for Ireland in the upcoming home series against England

Gaby Lewis has recuperated from a quad strain she supported in the opening ODI against Sri Lanka recently, and will lead Ireland in their white-ball series against Britain at home. Ordinary skipper Laura Delany is yet to recuperate from the tendon injury she supported on her lower leg in the second T20I against Sri Lanka. Alice Tector, who made her ODI debut against Sri Lanka, procured a lady T20I call-up. She is the sister of Ireland men's player Harry Tector. Una Raymond-Hoey, who got a physical issue in the main T20I against Sri Lanka, got back to both the white-ball crews. She had gotten back to global cricket following a five-year rest recently.
