Dunkley returns for New Zealand series

Opener Sophia Dunkley could be in line for her T20I rebound subsequent to being named in Britain's 16-part crew for the impending home series against New Zealand. Mahika Gaur, the 18-year-old speed sensation, was inaccessible for choice because of a side strain. Dunkley's consideration is the main development in a generally unaltered crew from the one that fixed the T20I series against Pakistan in May. Allrounder Freya Kemp, who played as an unadulterated hitter in that series, has been passed fit to continue bowling. The five-match T20I series, in anticipation of the T20 World Cup in October in Bangladesh, launches in Southampton on July 6. Hove will have the second game on July 9 and the third T20I will be at Canterbury July 11 preceding the convoy moves to the capital for the two London installations at the Kia Oval and Ruler's on July 13 and 17 separately. "This five-match series against a solid New Zealand side is truly significant for ourselves and furthermore imperative planning as we work towards the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh," lead trainer Jon Lewis said. "We are satisfied to invite Freya Kemp back as an all-rounder and we will ideally see her bowl across this series as she gets back from injury. "Sophia Dunkley returns into the crew in the wake of showing great structure at territorial level, she has acquired the option to be in this crew. "Mahika Gaur isn't accessible to play because of a little side strain. We will hope to have her in and around the crew getting ready to get back to play," Lewis added. The T20I series will be trailed by three ODIs, the crew for which will be named later.
