Britain have designated Ben Stokes as the new Test chief following Joe Root's abdication recently. "I'm respected to be allowed the opportunity to lead the England Test group. This is a genuine honor, and I'm amped up for beginning this late spring," Stokes said. "I need to express gratitude toward Joe (Root) for all that he has accomplished for English Cricket and for continuously being an extraordinary diplomat for the game the whole way across the world. Stirs up, who made his Test debut in December 2013, has played 79 red-ball games for England.
