Bangladesh to host South Africa for two Tests in October

A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official said on Friday (September 13) that the two-match Test series against South Africa is probably going to separately be played in Dhaka and Chattogram. BCB authorities demanded that they are confident that the series which is important for the ICC World Test Title, will begin according to plan regardless of the way that questions were raised because of the political circumstance in the country. Cricket South Africa (CSA) is supposed to sit with South African Cricketers Affiliation (SACA) prior to pursuing a last choice in regards to their impending visit. In any case, it is perceived that there are no security concerns with respect to the visit. An extra element which could lean toward the series to occur is that South Africa's administration has not given a movement guidance against visiting Bangladesh. BCB had arranged a draft schedule for the series, and as per it, the travelers will show up in Bangladesh on October 16. South Africa will play the initial Test at the Sher-e-Bangla Public Arena in Dhaka from October 21 while the series-closing second Test is booked to be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Arena in Chattogram from October 29. The travelers will withdraw on November 3. "We are confident that the visit will begin according to timetable and we will formally declare it before long," a BCB official told Cricbuzz on Friday. As of late the ICC Women's T20 World Cup was moved from Bangladesh to UAE for political unsettling influence while the New Zealand A group's visit to Bangladesh was likewise rescheduled.
