Former all-rounder Azhar Mahmood has been named as the head coach of Pakistan for the upcoming series against New Zealand. The men's team will be playing a five-match T20I series, in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Also, Wahab Riaz has been named as the senior group director while Mohammad Yousuf and Saeed Ajmal will be the batting and bowling trainer separately. Pakistan had been looking for a full-time lead trainer with any semblance of Shane Watson being in the retribution at a certain point. Mahmood's ongoing term is set to be just for the impending visit. Mahmood has recently filled in as the bowling trainer of the public group until 2019 and has likewise had instructing stretches at the Pakistan Super Association. Pakistan have been without a full time mentor since the flight of Award Bradburn alongside Micky Arthur who had filled in as Overseer of Cricket.
