Oman and Scotland prepare to lock horns in match number 10 of the T20 World Cup Qualifier at Al Amrat Cricket Ground (Ministry Turf 1) in Al Amrat on Thursday, 21 October. Kyle Coetzer-led Scotland is on a roll, having won both their matches against Bangladesh and PNG.
But if they lose their next game, they may also face
elimination. Although they are placed at the top of Group B, their net run rate
is close to that of Oman and Bangladesh. Oman, in contrast, lost their previous
game to the Tigers but went down by giving their opponent a run for their money.

The Probable best batsman of the match
Jatinder Singh (Oman)
Jatinder Singh has been in incredible form in the
current edition of the T20 World Cup. The right-handed batsman is currently the
tournament's leading run-scorer, scoring 113 runs at an average of 113. After
scoring a half-century against PNG, he scored 40 against Mahmudullah's
Bangladesh. Jatinder will have to be on top of his game if Oman is to win the
next game.
Probable the best bowler of the match
Josh Davey (Scotland)
Josh Davey has been in incredible form for Scotland
in the current edition of the T20 tournament. The right hand took only one
wicket against Bangladesh. But against PNG, the fast bowler took four wickets.
His economy rate of 5.60 shows that the opposition batsmen have not been able
to score big against him.
